People come to therapy for all kinds of reasons  - anxiety, family drama, burnout, relationships falling apart, feeling stuck in the same patterns. Sometimes they know exactly what's wrong. Sometimes they just know something's off and they're tired of carrying it.

I'm a Black, first-gen Caribbean woman, an EMDR therapist, and a Certified Financial Social Worker. I built my practice around the stuff that usually gets split up: the emotional weight and the financial stress. Because they're not separate, they're tangled together.

I work with anyone who resonates with my approach, and I especially get what it means to carry the weight of Caribbean family dynamics, cultural expectations, and generational patterns that don't always have a name.

How I Work

My approach pulls from trauma-informed and somatic practices, CBT, DBT, and strengths-based work. I'm tuned into neurodivergence, high sensitivity, financial stress, and the complicated ways race, culture, and mental health overlap. This is a space where you can show up as yourself - no code-switching, no judgment.

Expect honesty, direction, and real strategies - not sugarcoating or sessions that go nowhere. Just real work: understanding what you've been carrying, building tools, and breaking the cycles that have kept you stuck.

As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Financial Social Worker (CFSW), with 5+ years of experience helping people through mental health struggles, financial stress, and generational trauma.
